Description

Haw'mg I actually drew my OC. 26 hours within 2 days of work. x.x 15 hours one day 11 hours today, holy cow. But she is done and I'm proud LOL.

It's also based on my OC on gaia, I just don't know how to draw chains on jackets yet. x.x And I couldn't get the yellow ombre in the hair, and I was too lazy to do the braid. >_>;

The character design for this is very strong- I think your use of color really gives her personality- I love the contrast of the gauge in her ear versus her hair. The hairstyle really screams 'punk.' I think the difference between the color with the black gun and sweater is really nice. Overall- a very good character design. I'd be interested to see her in a comic or cartoon! The only reason I took down originality a bit is because the pose isn't as unique as the character, though not quite trite either.

Execution-wise, you did great on the skin tone. There's a bit of area where her left arm hits her sleeve that seems a bit ruddy- I think the shading wasn't quite smoothed enough. I also wonder on the shirt. The shading seems a bit rushed compared to the very concise shading and line you see in the rest of her.

Overall, love the character. There might just be some room for practice on the shading. I think you're getting there, and your characters are strong enough that I think when you get the shading down you'll be a force to be reckoned with!!
